Sims4
Sims 4 is the fourth iteration of the Sims and arguably the weakest among many of its long-time fans. The game has 17 purchasable expansion packs (as of 3/6/25) which add story and features to your sims worlds. The author of this wiki however has their version of the world on a disk which has been burned to an ISO file that also contains all expansions available.
Next this section will cover the cheat menu and various global cheats followed by cheats/commands for the base game and finally specific pack cheats. To quickly find a specific section you can search for it with ctrl + f and using the following key system.
Global Cheats are those that effect all the game worlds. IE. if you set the season to spring some areas will become cold or hot. If you set specific weather some will have rain or snow. This also includes the effects of different moon phases.

Sims 4 Cheat menu
As with all sims games there is a console available in game which allows you to enter cheats and codes. Some of these cheats are not direct cheats but allow for sims to fill their hunger, sleep, etc. which allows them to build skills or do activities for longer. In Sims 4 this menu can be accessed using Ctrl + Shift + C. Once in the cheat menu all other lists below can be accessed. In sims 4 testingcheats true tells the game you want to enter cheat commands.
Money Cheats:
- money x (value to + or -)
- kaching = Adds or removes $1000 to family funds
- rosebud = adds a number of $ to family funds
- motherlode = Adds or removes $10000 to family funds
Seasons Cheats
- seasons.set_season x (0 - Summer, 1 - Fall, 2 - Winter, 3 - Spring)
Base Game Cheats
These are cheats that effect sims behavior, mood, life-goals, or journey achievements (see life and death for more details) all skill commands can have any number up to their max value entered
General Aspirations
- sims.add_buff Points - gives 100 aspiration points
- sims.give_satisfaction_points # - gives specified number of points
- aspirations.complete_current_milestone - completes the current milestone requirements regardless of specified pre-reqs.
- stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_MovingOn_SoulsJourney # - gives points for completely Souls Journey goals
Career Cheats will advance your sim automatically in their career regardless of pre-req skills needed. Note that once you reach level 5 you will have to manually choose a career branch. Also while careers max at level 10 you can also promote above level 10 your career will show +1 and you will get a flat bonus to your sims paycheck.
