Yester

Planetary Information: Yester

A rocky planet much like earth which contains fauna and animal life as well as liquid water of rivers, lakes and at least 3 oceans.

Yester is roughly 2 billion years old, and thus is stable in atmosphere, planetary systems (water cycle, nitrogen cycle), and terrestrially. It orbits its parent star Gennju once every 20 hours. Creating a difference of 1456 hours compared to earth.

The planet has 4 continents which at the time of the story are unnamed and 3 of which are unpopulated. Daggerfell was founded on the continent of Primera, a landmass marked by large mountains and founded in the northeast.

The Axar are original discoverers of Yester on 1923 (See Master Timeline). Plans had gone into effect to make the planet habitable by sending sentient robots to perform “Planet Realignment” to terriform the planet for their habitation. This included creating cities, landscaping, and atmospheric adjustment, even introducing their native plants and animals.

In the year 2180ad the robots had not heard from the main Axar civilization. The robots, having completed their work within the 300 year expected window, and sending regular progress reports were at a loss. They continued waiting for the rest of the construction period had concluded but even then still did not hear from the Axar. At this point the robots went into a self preservation frenzy, some returned to the robot pod crypt buried deep underground. Others constructed one-way portals to different planets to find what they needed to sustain themselves. One such portal was to Ribbon, before humans arrived and where the stones built up the energy to take the humans living there back to Yester.
